CLASS A CDL DRIVER – LOCAL – HOME DAILY – SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

Family owned Southern California trucking company is hiring an experienced Class A CDL driver for local hauling. Home every day, no over the road. You'll work directly with the owners, not a corporate dispatch office, and there's real room to grow as we bring more trucks in the coming months. PAY AND BENEFITS $26 per hour to start, paid weekly Raise to $27 per hour after your first 90 days Paid for all hours worked Overtime paid after 40 hours a week Paid sick leave Home daily SCHEDULE Routes start and end in Tustin, CA Early morning starts, often around 4/5:00 a.m. Full days, often 8+ hours Routes and load count vary day to day, but this is steady, ongoing local work EQUIPMENT Peterbilt tractor with [end dump / transfer trailer] Local hauling only REQUIREMENTS Valid Class A CDL At least 2 years of verifiable Class A tractor trailer experience. Our insurance carrier requires this, no exceptions. Current DOT medical card Acceptable driving record Must pass a DOT pre employment drug test and take part in random testing Must follow all DOT and FMCSA rules PREFERRED EXPERIENCE End dump, transfer trailers, waste or recycling hauling, aggregate or material hauling, construction trucking, landfill and transfer station operations WHAT YOU'LL DO Safely operate tractor trailer equipment Complete pre trip and post trip inspections Keep accurate time records and paperwork Follow dispatch instructions and communicate right away about delays or mechanical issues Keep your truck clean and well maintained Work safely and professionally at customer sites, transfer stations, and disposal sites Applicants with less than 2 years of verifiable Class A tractor trailer experience can't be considered because of our insurance requirements.
