Class A CDL driver/ Home every night

Overview As a Class A CDL Driver, you’ll transport and deliver freight while returning home each night. You’ll use safe driving practices, GPS navigation, and route planning to move cargo reliably. Your impact: Careful handling and on-time deliveries help customers receive their freight safely and keep logistics operations moving. Responsibilities Operate a tractor-trailer for local delivery and route driving; Load, unload, and secure freight, using manual handling when needed. Use GPS navigation and follow delivery instructions, traffic laws, and designated routes. Inspect equipment and cargo, and report safety concerns or delivery issues promptly. Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and ability to operate commercial trucks, including manual-transmission vehicles. Safe commercial truck driving, truck driving, and delivery driving skills; delivery driver experience is preferred. Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including hazardous materials regulations.. Experience with automobile transportation, freight, logistics cargo handling, and truck loading and unloading is helpful. Familiarity with Pneumatic trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus.
