Overview Join MKS Logstics as a Class A CDL Driver, delivering intermodal freight regionally and locally while having the convenience of being home daily. As a important part of our operation, you’ll ensure timely, safe deliveries while adhering to (DOT) and (FMCSA) regulations. Truck for this position is a 2016 Mack CXU613 - Auto Requirements Intermodal (container) experience REQUIRED . Hazmat endorsement REQUIRED Ability to work 10-12 hour days. No preventable accidents or serious moving violations in the last 3 years. Consistent and stable verifiable work history. Knowledge of GPS navigation tools and route planning for efficient deliveries. Experience operating trucks with manual transmission; comfortable managing tractor-trailer operations under various conditions. Strong commitment to safety protocols, including truck safety inspections and compliance with all federal regulations governing commercial driving. Pay $0.56 CPM / $27 Per Hour (1099) - Loaded & Empty Miles Paid miles from Orgin to Destination / Paid hourly within city (rail moves), and paid during loading and unloading. Bonus hazardous pay for hazmat loads. 9 Paid holidays throughout year. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission on refrigerated trailer routes, ensuring compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations. Navigate using GPS systems to plan efficient delivery routes across various regions, maintaining punctuality and route accuracy. Deliver freight to designated locations with timely precision. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure safety standards are met; perform routine maintenance checks. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
