Class A CDL Driver - Heavy Wrecker & transport Trailer

Job description We are hiring full-time! Full-time is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with a rotation of nights and weekends on call. This position would be paid at hourly, plus commission. Qualifications Include: ~ Must be 21 years or older ~ Clean background and driving record ~ Pass pre-employment drug testing. Must pass random drug test when requested. We request hair follicle drug testing. ~ DOT physical and medical card, preferred ~ CDL is REQUIRED for Heavy Wrecker or Transport Trailer ~ Attention to details, required ~ Customer service skills, required ~ Assess a situation and complete it safely ~ Being able to work as a team as well as on your own, safely & professionally ~ Must be mechanically inclined & have experience with basic hand tools ~ Must be able to operate vehicles with automatic & manual transmission ~ Must understand technology. i.e. smart phones, tablets, variety of apps, etc. ~ Must be comfortable driving in all types of weather South Dakota has to offer ~ Willing to learn & understand working load limits of equipment used Job Duties: ~ Transport all makes, models of vehicles, semis, trailers, etc. ~ Transport machinery, building materials, etc. ~ Knowledge on how to secure all forms of loads ~ Winching vehicles or machinery out of difficult situations ~ Transport two vehicles using one truck ~ Tow campers, horse trailers, boat trailers, etc. ~ Maintain cleanliness of truck inside and out ~ Follow company policy on daily truck inspections ~ Properly secure what is being transported ~ Hauling equipment ~ Towing semis ~ Load shifts Olson Towing transports just about anything and everything that a customer needs moved.
