Class A CDL Driver - Fuel Delivery
Eagle Propane & Fuel, LPOverview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Class A CDL Driver specializing in fuel delivery to join our team. This role involves safely transporting fuel products, including hazardous materials, to various locations while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience, possess a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Duties Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for the delivery of fuel products, including hazardous materials, to designated locations. Transport fuel in tanker trucks while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous materials handling and transportation. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and tankers to ensure safety and operational readiness. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and compliance records as required by regulatory agencies. Follow established safety procedures at all times, including proper handling of Hazmat materials and adherence to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules, potential issues, or delays. Assist with loading and unloading fuel as needed, ensuring proper procedures are followed for hazardous materials. Maintain a clean and safe vehicle environment, reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Minimum of two years of professional driving experience in fuel delivery or related field. Proven experience handling hazardous materials safely and in compliance with regulations. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations related to tanker trucks and hazardous materials transportation. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and responsibility. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading fuels and inspecting vehicles. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance at all times.
