Class A CDL driver for Team run

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Class A CDL driver to join our team for a FedEx run. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate tractor-trailers across over-the-road (OTR) routes, delivering freight efficiently and safely while adhering to all federal and state regulations. As a key player in our logistics operation, you will be responsible for transporting cargo, your expertise in commercial truck driving and commitment to safety will ensure timely deliveries and exceptional service. Duties Operate tractor-trailers with automatic transmission across long-distance routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Safely hook up a set of trailer using a dolly Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules and ensure timely arrivals at designated destinations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, trailer, and cargo to identify potential issues and maintain safety standards Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, inspections, and incidents in compliance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues encountered on the route. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving for freight delivery over long distances. Double and triple endorsement Ability to operate automatic transmission trucks Knowledge of FMCSA regulations related to hours of service, safety standards, and hazardous materials handling.
