CLASS A CDL DRIVER-DUMP TRUCK W/ TRAILER & LOWBOY

Experienced Class A CDL driver with lowboy experience? If you know how to safely haul heavy equipment, secure a load, and get the job done right, Georgia Sewer and Storm LLC wants you on our team. We are a locally owned and growing underground utility contractor specializing in sewer, stormwater, and water infrastructure throughout the Metro Atlanta area. This isn't a job where you're just another truck number. Our drivers are an important part of the operation. You'll work directly with our field crews, haul the equipment and materials they need, and help keep our projects moving. WHAT YOU'LL DO Operate Class A dump trucks and lowboy/equipment trailers . Safely load, secure, transport, and unload heavy construction equipment, including excavators and skid steers. Haul dirt, gravel, pipe, asphalt, concrete, and other construction materials. Transport equipment and materials between our yard, suppliers, and active construction sites. Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical issues. Properly secure all loads and maintain compliance with DOT regulations and load-securement requirements . Communicate with foremen, project managers, equipment operators, and other field personnel. Navigate efficiently to job sites throughout the Metro Atlanta area. Assist with field operations when needed — this is a hands-on construction position, not just a driving job. Follow all company safety policies and maintain a professional, safety-first approach. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Required: Valid Class A CDL Minimum 4 years of dump truck and trailer driving experience Previous lowboy/equipment trailer experience is REQUIRED Clean/satisfactory MVR Proven experience hauling and securing heavy construction equipment Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and load securement Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic Ability and willingness to perform physical fieldwork when needed Preferred: Underground utility, sewer, stormwater, or site construction experience Experience hauling pipe, dirt, gravel, asphalt, and concrete Experience around excavators, skid steers, and other heavy construction equipment Previous experience working directly with construction crews THE JOB Local/Metro Atlanta construction work Early morning starts Extended workdays as project schedules require Occasional Saturdays Outdoor work in varying weather conditions Physical work may be required Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
