Class A CDL Driver
Disposal Management Services, Inc.Job Summary Seeking a class A CDL driver. Work assignments are local, home daily, weekends off. Experience with walking floor trailers and hydraulics are preferred, but not required. Haz-mat and tanker endorsement preferred, but not required. Responsibilities Operate day cab tractor for daily local routes. Safely preform daily operations of the commercial vehicle Inspect vehicles and trailers, report issues, and maintain required pre-trip and post-trip records. Follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including applicable DEP requirements and procedures Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and ability to meet applicable driving and safety requirements. Commercial truck driving, truck driving, commercial driving, or delivery driver experience; walking floor trailer experience preferred, but not required Knowledge of walking floor and tipper trailers preferred, but not required Basic mechanical knowledge preferred Hazmat and tanker endorsement preferred, but not required Experience in the waste and recycling industry preferred, but the employer is willing to train qualified applicants Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Paid training Safety equipment provided Work Location: In person
