Duties Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers with automatic transmissions, across designated routes Manage route driving responsibilities efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety standards Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight delivery details, and inspection reports in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations (Tractor equipped with ELD) Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly Experience Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a valid Class A CDL license (2 years verifiable experience required) Demonstrated ability to operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently Prior experience driving tractor-trailer combination (dry van) Knowledge of freight handling procedures and route planning for optimal efficiency Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards related to commercial trucking Strong commitment to safe driving practices and excellent customer service skills Knowledge of Amazon Relay operations is highly desirable This role is predicated on insurability in Nevada and passing Amazon Relay driver qualification criteria, including but not limited to the ability to pass a background check and demonstration of a safe driving record.
