Position Summary Storm Equipment is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to support transportation of snowplow equipment and materials between facilities, yards, and designated locations. Driving is the primary responsibility. During slower transportation periods, this role also supports stockroom and production operations through material receiving, inventory organization, parts staging, and related material-handling activities. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys driving, variety, equipment, and supporting a team in a fast-paced operational environment. This position includes both driving and non-driving safety-sensitive duties. Key Responsibilities Commercial Driving (Primary Function) · Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport equipment and materials. · Load, secure, and unload snowplow equipment using appropriate tools and procedures. · Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation. · Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards. · Maintain accurate logs and transportation records. · Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding schedules and equipment movement. Stockroom & Material Support (During Non-Driving Periods) · Receive, label, and store incoming materials and components. · Pick, stage, and deliver parts to production based on work orders and production needs. · Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and required documentation. · Organize shelves, bins, and stockroom areas to support efficient material flow. · Monitor low-stock items and communicate replenishment needs. · Inspect incoming and stocked materials for accuracy and quality. · Operate carts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment. · Assist with basic assembly tasks following written work instructions as needed. · Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom and work area. · Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards. · Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, and Supervisors to support daily operational needs. Seasonal / Occasional Duties · Assist Storm’s commercial snow removal team during winter months (plowing, salting, clearing as needed) · Support general facility maintenance or seasonal projects Required Qualifications · Valid Class A CDL · Acceptable driving record subject to a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review and insurance carrier approval · Ability to meet and maintain all applicable DOT/FMCSA driver qualification, medi…
