CLASS-A CDL DRIVER
ConfidentialJob Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class-A CDL Driver to join our transportation team! In this vital role, you will operate a semi tractor regionally pulling Amazon trailers. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailer, adhering to all FMCSA and DOT regulations. Transport trailers efficiently across designated routes. 100% No touch Freight. Only hook and drop. Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules and ensure timely arrivals. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, deliveries, and compliance documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, or any incidents encountered during transit. Skills Proven experience operating Class-A commercial trucks with a minimum of 2yrs experience. Strong knowledge of logistics cargo handling, truck loading/unloading procedures, and route driving strategies. Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution.
