Class A CDL Driver

Job Description Iron Ridge Paving is seeking a dependable, experienced Part-Time Class A CDL Driver to support our asphalt paving operations throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We are looking for a safety-conscious professional who takes pride in their equipment, shows up on time, and understands the demands of the construction industry. This is a flexible, part-time position with hours based on project schedules and workload. Ideal for an experienced driver looking for additional work without committing to a full-time schedule. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A commercial trucks and trailers. Transport heavy construction equipment, including pavers, rollers, skid steers, and other paving equipment. Haul construction materials and equipment to and from job sites. Properly secure and inspect loads in compliance with DOT regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Maintain clean, organized, and well-cared-for equipment. Coordinate with field crews to ensure timely equipment deliveries and pickups. Assist with general job site activities when needed. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL with a clean, acceptable driving record. Experience hauling heavy construction equipment preferred. Experience operating lowboys, equipment trailers, or similar hauling configurations strongly preferred. Knowledge of DOT safety requirements and proper load securement. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to work flexible hours based on construction schedules. Asphalt paving or heavy highway construction experience is a plus. Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
