Class A CDL Driver

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour Position: Intermodal - Local CDL A Driver Hours of operation : Monday through Friday; 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Hours may vary) Pay Range: $28-35 /hour DOE Responsibilities and Duties: × Operate tractor trailer truck safely and efficiently × Transporting import/export containers to and from the port terminal/railyard × Pick up materials on flatbed/containers × Maintain log books and safety guidelines × Must manually strap and un-strap flatbed × Various physical tasks related to truck and container operation Qualifications and Skills: × Must have a valid, clear Class A commercial driver license × Good driving history × Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and Motor Vehicle Check* × Experience with handling 20-40 foot containers - REQUIRED × Inter-Modal Experience (port terminal/railyard) - REQUIRED × TWIC CARD - REQUIRED × PORT EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED Benefits: × After 60 day period is met, the company pays 100% of each employee's Health, Vision, Dental, Life insurance, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability. × An evaluation is also conducted at a 90 day probation period, in which the employee is eligible for a monetary increase along with the Paid Time Off Program. × Performance Bonus Program × 401K Retirement Plan Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: Intermodal: 2 years (Preferred) Port Rail Yard: 2 years (Preferred) License/Certification: CDL A (Required) TWIC Card (Required) acHjMPAOH7
