Location: Project sites across Nevada and California Employment type: Full-time Union affiliation: Laborers Local 169 About the role CNPB is hiring Class A CDL Drivers to support our drilling and blasting operations. Drivers transport equipment and materials to project sites and work alongside field crews during setup, operations, and cleanup. This is a hands-on position that requires safe driving, attention to detail, and a willingness to work in construction and mining environments. Responsibilities Transport drilling equipment, explosives, stemming materials, and other supplies to project sites as assigned. Inspect vehicles before and after trips and maintain required driving, fuel, and mileage records. Load, unload, and secure equipment and materials. Support field crews with site setup, material staging, spotting, rigging, safety checks, and cleanup. Follow applicable DOT requirements, site rules, and CNPB safety procedures. Communicate equipment concerns, changing site conditions, and safety issues to your supervisor. Required Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License Clean motor vehicle record At least three years of verifiable driving experience Ability and willingness to travel regionally to project sites Ability to perform physically demanding field work, including regularly lifting and carrying at least 60 pounds OSHA 10-Hour Construction training, or ability to complete it upon hire Must be eligible for authorization as an ATF employee possessor and successfully complete the required ATF background check for duties involving explosives Preferred Qualifications Tanker and HAZMAT endorsements Construction or mining experience MSHA Part 46 New Miner training, or ability to complete it upon hire Familiarity with DOT hazardous materials requirements Work Conditions Projects may require early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays. Work takes place outdoors in varying weather and on dusty, noisy, or uneven terrain. Drivers must be able to bend, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods.
