Class A CDL Driver
SeubertJob Overview We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team. This role involves hauling livestock, grain, feed, hay, and other farm supplies for an agriculture-exempt company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting agricultural products while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This position offers an opportunity to work in a vital industry supporting local farming operations. Duties Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles to transport livestock, grain, feed, hay, and other farm supplies. Ensure timely and secure delivery of agricultural products to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to maintain safety standards. Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and cargo documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and farm personnel regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport. Assist with loading and unloading when necessary, ensuring proper handling of livestock and farm supplies. Follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of oneself, other drivers, livestock, and cargo during transit. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience hauling livestock as well as grain, feed, hay, or other farm supplies is preferred. Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and agricultural transportation. Ability to operate large commercial vehicles safely under various weather conditions. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Physical capability to handle loading/unloading tasks and assist with livestock when required.
