Class A CDL Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving routes. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, combined with your knowledge of logistics cargo handling and safety regulations, will ensure timely deliveries and excellent service. Duties Safely operate Class A commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met; report any mechanical issues promptly Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and compliance records in line with DOT regulations Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving Knowledge of flatbed transport required Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for over-the-road (OTR) routes Ability to handle manual transmission trucks and perform manual handling tasks safely Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck loading/unloading Experience with freight management, logistics cargo handling, and delivering dangerous goods safely Strong communication skills and a commitment to safe driving practices Join us as a Class A CDL Driver where your expertise drives success!
