Class A CDL Delivery Driver (Tanker & Hazmat Endorsement)

Position Summary: Drive to customer locations to provide goods and services as scheduled. Read site glass level indicators and record the delivered quantities. Operate various pumps with hoses, risers and valves. Safely and responsibly maintain assigned equipment required to perform job functions. Work Environment: Indoors and Outdoors, with driving involved. Employee could be faced with working in temperature extremes. Employee must be able to lift and carry 100 pounds, manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude helpful. Use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to: hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and H2S monitor as required or needed. Essential Functions: · Safely operate vehicles to include (not limited to) delivery trucks, tank trailers, over-the-road trucks. · Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicle and equipment as required by DOT. · Maintain hours of service by using electronic logging if required by DOT. · Clear documentation of all paperwork including Field Delivery Tickets and Bill of Ladings. · Strap trailers and make daily deliveries to meet customer requirements. · Comply with all Federal, State and Local laws · Have the ability to fluently read, write and speak in English. · Adhere to guidelines, policies and procedures as described in the SGB handbook. · Adhere to SGB’s Drug and Alcohol policy and agrees to submit to random drug testing as a condition of employment. · Express ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form. · Exhibit excellent listening skills · Provide excellent customer service skills with all customers and field office personnel · Maintain the highest level of safety at all times. · Work well independently and in a team atmosphere · Follow driving directions and efficiently drive to oilfield leases and well locations. Qualifications: · High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) · Minimum of 1 year previous experience · Forklift certification preferred · Class A – CDL is required (X-HazMat & Tanker endorsement required) · Possess a current Medical Examiners Certification. · Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful and credible in the workplace · Lift and carry 100 pounds in various packaging. · Tip and move 55 gallon drums weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of a drum dolly Skills & Abilities: · Computer Skills: Have basic computer skills. Efficiently navigate a web browser, follow online instructions, type and use a mouse · Customer Service Skills: Meet internal and external commitments, respond promptly to customer needs, and solicit customer feedback to improve service · Work Ethic: Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible in the workplace. Display a sincere desire to provide service or assistance, follow instructions, and take responsibility for own actions. Show a commitment to doing the best job possible. · Physical Abilities: Lift and carry 100 pounds in various packaging. Tip and move 55 gallon drums, weight up to 600 pounds, with the use of a drum dolly.
