Duties
• Operate tractor-trailers across over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Navigate using GPS systems to optimize routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and inspection reports in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
Experience
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments.
• Prior experience operating manual transmission trucks is highly desirable.
