Arrow Lift RentalsPosition Summary/Purpose Arrow Lift Rentals is a family-owned and operated business serving the DFW Metroplex with aerial work platforms and heavy construction equipment for contractors. The Class A CDL Commercial Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely, efficient, and safe delivery, pickup, and transport of a wide range of lifting equipment—including forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts—to various construction sites, warehouses, and industrial projects. This position requires strict adherence to DOT and OSHA regulations, close collaboration with dispatch, maintaining truck cleanliness and safety standards, and delivering exceptional, professional service during every customer interaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Safely operate a variety of heavy-duty trucks and trailers, ensuring all equipment is securely loaded, transported, and unloaded at designated locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections in compliance with DOT requirements. Identify maintenance needs and ensure equipment and trucks are kept clean, organized, and in excellent working condition. Coordinate closely with the logistics and dispatch team to follow efficient routes using GPS/routing software, adhere to delivery schedules, communicate updates or delays, and dynamically meet customer needs. Assist in securely loading, tying down, and unloading heavy equipment utilizing proper handling procedures and lifting techniques to prevent damage and injury. Provide outstanding, professional customer service during deliveries and pick-ups, representing Arrow Lift Rentals positively while interacting with clients on site. Adhere strictly to all DOT and OSHA standards, company safety policies, and maintain a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol-free workplace. Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Valid CDL Class A driver’s license required (Class A without restrictions preferred). Ability to navigate and follow routes efficiently, including proficiency in using GPS and other routing software and/or phone applications. Strong customer service skills, professional etiquette, sound communication, ability to follow directions, and high flexibility to adapt to changing schedules in a dynamic work environment. Flexibility to participate in an on-call schedule with varied work hours, including weekends as required by operational needs.
