Duties Must be 23+ years old Safely operate trailer for automobile transportation Load and unload vehicles with manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of cargo in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems efficiently, planning optimal OTR (Over the Road) driving routes for timely deliveries Transport vehicles across long-distance routes while complying with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and hazardous materials regulations when applicable Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking for hazards related to dangerous goods or hazardous materials Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation following FMCSA standards Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route status, delays, or issues during transit Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers used for automobile transportation Familiarity with route driving and delivery driving across interstate or over-the-road (OTR) routes Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, including freight handling and securing loads on flatbeds or specialized trailers Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) Strong understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and hazardous materials regulations governing commercial trucking Prior experience in logistics cargo handling and delivery driver roles involving freight transport Embark on a career that drives success—safely transporting vehicles across the country while mastering the art of professional trucking!
