Responsibilities Safely operate a Class 3 roll-off truck to pick up and deliver waste containers across designated routes. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload heavy waste containers, utilizing proper techniques and equipment. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including delivery logs, inspection reports, and service documentation. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to prevent accidents or incidents on the road. Assist with maintaining cleanliness of the truck and work area, ensuring a professional appearance at all times. Skills Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes. Valid driver’s license with appropriate Class 3 certification for commercial vehicle operation. Strong driving skills with experience operating large trucks in urban or rural environments. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients. Ability to follow detailed instructions, safety procedures, and route schedules reliably.
