Learn more at https://www.hazelwood.ca/ We’re growing and looking for a Full-Time Class 3 or Class 1 Driver / Operations Coordinator to join our team, serving the Whistler and Sea to Sky Corridor. Extended health and dental benefits after 180-day waiting period Stable, full-time employment Overtime opportunities Supportive team environment Boot & cell phone allowance Employee discounts Work with modern equipment in a safety-focused workplace Compensation $45.00 – $50.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications What You’ll Do Drive and operate our newer fleet, including Roll-Off, Front-Load, Side-Load and pickup trucks Support daily routes, schedules and route efficiency Coordinate daily workloads and operational needs Assist with deliveries, signage, bin placement and other field operations Conduct and document driver meetings and tailgates Support JHSC activities and maintenance tracking Train employees on equipment and safe operating procedures Conduct site inspections and customer/site visits Support special events and operational requirements Monitor inventory and equipment needs Help coordinate day-to-day operations and provide key support to the General Manager What You Bring Valid Class 3 or Class 1 driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract 2+ years of waste management experience is ideal, but not required Currently residing in the Sea to Sky Corridor with strong knowledge of the local area Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, positive and safety-minded Mechanically inclined and comfortable working around equipment Organized, adaptable and able to shift priorities when needed A team player who is comfortable taking initiative and getting things done Interested?
