NOW HIRING – CLASS 1 TRUCK DRIVER Interior Warehousing Ltd. – Prince George, BC $29.00 per hour Interior Warehousing Ltd. (IWL) is a well-established logistics and warehousing company based in Prince George, BC and part of the Brink Group of Companies. Founded in 1968 and acquired by the Brink Group in 2018, IWL provides warehousing, distribution, transportation and supply chain services throughout Northern and Central British Columbia and Western Canada, with a strong focus on supporting the mining, oil and gas, and industrial sectors. We are currently looking for an experienced and dependable Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team. The Position The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials and products for our customers. This position will include a combination of local and regional driving, with opportunities for mine runs and hot-shot deliveries as required. Responsibilities Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles and trailers Complete local, regional and mine deliveries as required Perform hot-shot deliveries on short notice when needed Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Ensure loads are properly secured and transported safely Complete required transportation documentation and trip records Load and unload materials as required Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism Follow all company, customer and regulatory safety requirements Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers and management Perform other transportation-related duties as required Qualifications Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence Air Brake endorsement Clean and acceptable driver's abstract Previous commercial driving experience Strong commitment to safety Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities Good communication and customer service skills Willingness and ability to travel to mine sites as required Flexibility to complete hot-shot and time-sensitive deliveries when required Experience hauling industrial, mining, or other specialized freight is considered an asset.
