Career Opportunity Position Summary Position Title: Class 1 Truck Delivery Drive Location (Start Point): Terrebonne, QC Delivery Area: Local routes — home every night Employment Type: Full-Time Shift Schedule: Evening Shift, Monday-Friday Start Time: Early Afternoon (8-10 hours per day) We are seeking dependable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented Class 1 drivers to join our growing transportation team. This role is ideal for professionals who take pride in delivering exceptional service while operating safely and efficiently on local routes with the benefit of being home every night. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle on local delivery routes. Deliver to retail stores and grocery locations. Complete dock-to-dock deliveries and unload pallets using an electric pallet jack (reefer or dry van). Perform precise backing maneuvers in tight spaces. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and comply with all safety regulations. Maintain compliance with hours-of-service requirements, company policies, and procedures. Demonstrate flexibility to meet operational requirements. For the evening shift, some waiting time during pickups should be expected Core Requirements Valid Class 1 driver's licence. Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada. Clean driver's abstract and successful background check. Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience. Comfortable operating in urban and highway environments, including tight parking areas and narrow loading docks. Strong knowledge of safe driving practices. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg). Professional, customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills. Flexibility to work weekends when required. Specialized Equipment (Asset) Experience operating electric and manual pallet jacks. Physical Requirements Ability to safely load and unload freight as required.
