GAP Trucking Ltd. is looking for a reliable, safety-conscious, and motivated Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team in Lennox Passage, Nova Scotia. We’re looking for a professional driver who takes pride in their work, operates equipment safely, and is committed to delivering loads efficiently and responsibly. Job Responsibilities Operate tractor-trailers and heavy-duty transport trucks safely and professionally. Transport and deliver loads to designated locations in a timely manner. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers. Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported safely. Follow all applicable traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company safety policies. Keep the truck and equipment clean and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns. Qualifications Valid Nova Scotia Class 1 driver's licence. Previous experience driving tractor-trailers. Good knowledge of transportation safety regulations and road safety practices. Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Strong communication and time-management skills. Reliable, professional, and committed to safe driving practices.
