Job Summary The Class 1 Truck Driver transports freight safely and reliably, supporting timely deliveries and smooth coordination across daily operations. The role involves preparing loads, operating a commercial vehicle, and communicating clearly about delivery progress or issues. Responsibilities Inspect the truck and freight before departure, confirming loads are secure and required delivery details are in order. Drive commercial routes responsibly, follow applicable road and site procedures, and provide timely updates on delays or changing conditions. Load or unload freight using a forklift when appropriate, and coordinate with colleagues to keep handling organized. Monitor vehicle condition, report maintenance concerns, and use heavy equipment safely when assigned. Your impact: Reliable deliveries help customers receive freight on schedule and enable colleagues to plan their work. Experience Required: Practical commercial driving capability, safe freight handling, attention to vehicle condition, and clear communication are important for completing deliveries and coordinating work. Preferred: Forklift experience, heavy equipment operation, and basic automotive repair skills can support efficient loading, safe site work, and early identification of vehicle issues. Related experience in transport, delivery, or freight operations is helpful.
