Job Summary The Class 1 Truck Driver transports freight safely and reliably, supporting timely deliveries and smooth coordination with customers and colleagues. The role involves operating a commercial vehicle, handling freight, and completing basic vehicle checks while following established procedures. Duties Operate a Class 1 truck on assigned routes and transport freight to designated destinations. Load, unload, and secure freight, using a forklift or other appropriate equipment when needed. Inspect the vehicle and report maintenance concerns; perform basic automotive repair tasks when appropriate. Coordinate delivery updates and document completed work accurately. Your impact: dependable deliveries help customers plan and colleagues keep operations moving. Skills Required: Practical commercial driving capability, safe freight handling, attention to detail, and the ability to inspect a vehicle and communicate issues clearly are important for this work. Preferred: Forklift operation, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair skills are advantageous, along with related experience that supports safe, efficient freight transport.
