Class 1 Shuttle Driver - Grand Falls Windsor, NL

This role includes driving a tractor trailer from our Domicile yard to main distribution center in Mount Pearl, then back to the Domicile yard. Working and driving in all weather conditions.
Overtime hours, working weekends and holidays, and starting at various early morning start times are required in order to successfully meet customers’ needs.

ip inspection of tractors and all trailers.
• Driving to Sysco locations to pick up empty trailers and drop off full trailers. Typically two trailers are connected for each trip.
• Maintaining travel logs (destinations, departure and arrival times, repairs, breakdowns, delays).
• Driving tractors to yards where they are needed. (typically 1 trip per night).
• Filling tractors with fuel as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:
Class 1 License with clean Driver’s Abstract and clear Criminal Record Check.
English fluency.
Reliable and safety conscious with a teamwork attitude.
High level of physical exertion is required; repetitive lifting up to 40 kg.
