Job Overview As a Class 1 Driver, you’ll transport freight safely and reliably, supporting smooth deliveries and day-to-day operations. The role involves commercial driving, careful load handling, and coordination with colleagues to keep shipments moving and customers informed. Responsibilities Drive commercial vehicles on assigned routes, following applicable road and site procedures. Inspect vehicles and freight before and during trips, securing loads and reporting damage or concerns. Coordinate pickup and delivery details with colleagues, providing timely updates when plans change. Operate relevant heavy equipment safely and assist with loading or unloading where needed. Requirements Required: Practical commercial driving capability, safe freight handling, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures and communicate clearly are essential to completing deliveries and coordinating work. Preferred: Forklift operation, heavy equipment operation, and basic automotive repair skills are advantageous, along with related experience supporting transport or freight operations.
