Class 1 Driver

Responsibilities Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight over short and long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security Load and unload freight using forklift or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and documentation Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery receipts, and vehicle maintenance records Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting vehicle issues to minimize downtime Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure working environment Experience Proven experience operating Class 1 commercial vehicles with a clean driving record Knowledge of freight handling procedures and heavy equipment operation such as forklifts Familiarity with automotive repair basics and vehicle maintenance routines Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for heavy vehicles Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for loading/unloading freight Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety standards Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values professionalism, safety, and efficiency.
