Job Overview As a Class 1 driver, you will transport freight safely and reliably, supporting smooth deliveries. Responsibilities Drive commercial vehicles to transport freight between designated locations, following applicable road rules and safe driving practices. Check loads and vehicle condition before and during journeys, reporting issues promptly and keeping delivery records accurate. Coordinate with dispatch about schedules, freight handling, and delivery updates to support dependable service. Use relevant equipment safely when required, including forklifts or other heavy equipment, and assist with basic automotive repair tasks where appropriate.
