What You'll Do
• Safely operate Class 1 tractor-trailer combinations in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Operate flatbed and curtain-side trailers, including tarping loads when required.
• Transport a variety of freight while ensuring loads are properly secured and handled.
• Move and shunt empty and loaded trailers between loading docks, yards, and customer locations as required.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, shippers, and receivers to ensure transportation requirements are met.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections, driver's logs, trip documentation, and other required paperwork.
• Maintain compliance with applicable transportation regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and report any load, equipment, or safety concerns promptly.
• Complete deliveries and pickups safely, efficiently, and within required timelines.
• Maintain a professional relationship with customers and represent Good's Logistics Inc. positively at all times.
• Work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Perform other transportation-related duties as required.
What We're Looking For
• Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Experience operating flatbed and curtain-side trailers.
• Experience with tarping and load securement.
• Experience handling steel, lumber, or other industrial commodities is considered an asset.
• Strong understanding of commercial vehicle safety requirements.
• Ability to complete accurate driver's logs, inspections, and transportation documentation.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing customer and transportation requirements.
• Current driver's abstract required.

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
