Responsibilities
• Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport CO2 and N2 across designated routes, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels.
• Load and unload freight efficiently and ensuring cargo is secured properly for transit.
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including delivery logs, inspection reports, and freight manifests.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate schedules, report issues, and confirm delivery details.
Experience
• Proven experience operating Class 1 commercial vehicles with a clean driving record.
• Must have off road driving experience and minimum three years verifiable employment in a similar driving position.
• Familiarity with handling freight that requires careful attention to safety protocols, especially hazardous materials like CO2 and N2.
• Preference will be given to individual with experience hauling CO2 and N2 but will consider training the right individual.
• Hands-on experience with heavy equipment handling preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive repair basics to identify potential vehicle issues proactively.
• Strong understanding of safety standards related to commercial driving and cargo securement.
• Ability to perform detailed inspections and maintain accurate records diligently.

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 60.0 per week
