Class 1 & 3 - Gravel Truck - TANDEM, PUP, End Dump

Ability DRIVE TANDEM, PUP, END DUMP The Role: The Class 1 & 3 Driver will be responsible for operating company’s dump trucks in a safe and effective manner while also providing a positive experience for our customers. What you’ll be doing: 1. Operate company’s dump trucks to transport materials from one site to another 2. Inspect vehicle for mechanical matters and safety issues by completing a pre and post inspection daily in a timely manner. Check oil, fluid levels, tires, lights, brakes etc. 3. Perform basic roadside repairs to equipment where required such as installing mud flaps and support with troubleshooting as required 4. Ensure regular cleaning and maintenance of truck cab, components, and other assigned equipment. 5. Ensure truck and trailer boxes are clean for the next day use. 6. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (e.g. size, weight, route designations, and parking) as well as with company policies and procedures 7. Ensure cargo/material is secured on each load, clean tailgates and reaches on each load 8. Promptly report any accidents, injuries, mechanical faults, and near-misses to the Fleet Performance Manager 9. Manage positive working relationships with fellow drivers and management 10. Communicate with dispatcher to organize routing and delivery schedules 11. May require to Interchange trailers as required for the job 12. Input daily timesheet logs, activities, and expenses into appropriate company systems 13. Perform any related and/or additional duties as assigned Who we’re looking for: Valid Class 1 or 3 Driver’s licence Dump experience required. Minimum 2-3+ years of driving experience Knowledge of DoT regulations Ability to use cellphone to electronically submit documents on company’s apps Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Work Location: On the road Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour Work Location: On the road
