and play a key part in safely moving product, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring orders meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
• Receive orders and off-load trucks in the Induction, Returns, or Home Delivery departments.
• Operate a stand-up forklift with clamp attachment to move large appliances and furniture safely and efficiently.
• Enter inventory data into the computer using Excel to maintain accurate records.
• Scan orders into the warehouse management system to track product movement.
• Perform quality checks on orders to ensure accuracy and condition before staging or outbound shipment.
• Place products in designated staging areas according to department and workflow requirements.
• Scan products into sub-locations using RF scanners to maintain precise location tracking.
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse protocols while working in a busy, floor-loaded environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors across departments to support smooth daily operations.
• Participate in a forklift skills test as part of the hiring process and maintain an active forklift ticket throughout employment.
Essential Skills
• Minimum 6+ months of experience operating a stand-up forklift with clamp attachment.
• Minimum 6+ months of computer experience using Excel for data entry and inventory tracking.
• Proficiency in operating clamp forklifts in a warehouse environment handling large appliances and furniture.
• Active and valid forklift ticket.
• Good communication skills to work effectively with supervisors and team members.
• High attention to detail when entering data, scanning products, and performing quality checks.
• Experience using RF scanners to scan orders and products into systems and sub-locations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Direct, hands-on experience moving large appliances and furniture in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Ability to adapt to working in different departments such as Induction (receiving), Returns, or Home Delivery (outbound).
• Willingness to participate in a 3045 minute interview and forklift test as part of the hiring process.

Work Environment
You will work in a large, open warehouse where all products are floor loaded and handled using clamp forklifts and RF scanners. Each shift typically includes 2030 people, providing a busy but collaborative environment supported by four supervisors overseeing the different departments. The standard shifts include a mid shift from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM and an afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Candidates need to be flexible and may be asked to switch between morning and afternoon-style shifts based on operational needs. The facility focuses on safety, teamwork, and efficiency, offering structured onboarding that typically follows shortly after the interview and forklift test.
