Clamp Forklift Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Clamp Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating clamp trucks and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and organize inventory within our distribution center. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse operations, uphold safety standards, and contribute to timely order fulfillment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of equipment including reach trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks, all while maintaining a focus on safety and accuracy. Duties Operate clamp trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely and efficiently Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning tools to track stock movement accurately Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, ensuring correct quantities and proper handling of goods Conduct routine inspections of equipment for maintenance needs or repairs; perform basic troubleshooting and report issues promptly Follow all OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols during equipment operation and manual handling tasks Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying inbound/outbound shipments and maintaining accurate records Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing storage areas, stacking pallets safely, and ensuring materials are stored correctly Experience Prior experience operating heavy material handling equipment such as clamp trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, or forklifts is essential Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and inventory control procedures Familiarity with warehouse safety standards in production environments including OSHA regulations Experience in shipping & receiving operations, order picking, load & unload procedures, and heavy lifting techniques Warehouse supervisor experience or related roles in warehouse management are advantageous but not mandatory Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while adhering to safety standards in production environments Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation purposes Join us as a Clamp Forklift Operator if you thrive in a fast-paced environment where safety meets efficiency.
