Clamp Forklift Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clamp Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating clamp trucks and other material handling equipment to efficiently load, unload, and organize products within our distribution center. Your expertise in warehouse operations, inventory management, and equipment handling will ensure smooth logistics flow and uphold safety standards across all activities. Duties Operate clamp trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, Hi-Lo, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload goods safely and efficiently Manage inventory by accurately scanning barcodes, updating warehouse management systems (WMS), and maintaining precise stock levels Perform order picking and order fulfillment tasks using appropriate equipment such as cherry pickers and reach trucks Conduct routine inspections of equipment for proper operation; perform basic repairs or report maintenance needs promptly Follow all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) safety protocols and warehouse safety standards during daily operations Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming/outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation, and organizing products for distribution Support warehouse management in implementing distribution plans, maintaining organized storage areas, and optimizing space utilization Requirements Proven experience operating clamp trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse setting Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and inventory control procedures Familiarity with warehouse safety standards including OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and materials movement safely Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order picking, load & unload procedures Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively Valid certification for forklift operation; additional certifications such as OSHA or warehouse supervisor experience are a plus Join our team as a Clamp Forklift Operator to play a vital role in maintaining efficient warehouse distribution processes.
