This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a variety of exciting projects in the Engineering industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of transportation systems, with a focus on roadway geometric design. This position requires a solid understanding and practical experience with software tools such as PowerGeopak, OpenRoads, and MicroStation. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of transportation design. Responsibilities Lead and manage the design and planning of transportation projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and project deadlines. Utilize software tools such as PowerGeopak, OpenRoads, and MicroStation for transportation design and analysis. Conduct detailed roadway geometric design and develop comprehensive transportation plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, planners, and designers to develop integrated solutions. Prepare and present detailed reports and design documents. Ensure all designs and projects comply with local and national engineering standards and codes. Participate in project meetings and provide expert inputs on transportation design and planning. Conduct site visits, assessments, and inspections as necessary. Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing expertise and promoting professional growth. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation design and planning. Proven experience with transportation design software tools such as PowerGeopak, OpenRoads, and MicroStation. Strong knowledge of roadway geometric design. Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex engineering concepts and designs to a variety of audiences. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Advanced knowledge of local and national engineering standards and codes related to transportation design. Ability to conduct site visits, assessments, and inspections as necessary.
