City Dispatcher – Afternoon Shift

Full-time, on-site | 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM Transam Carriers is an asset-based carrier with 140+ trucks running across Canada and the U.S. We're looking for a dependable City Dispatcher to run our GTA operation through the afternoon and evening. What you'll do Take over from the morning dispatcher and keep afternoon pickups, deliveries and shunts on track Coordinate late-day deliveries and linehaul trucks arriving at or leaving the yard Plan and assign the next morning's city work so the day starts on time Track drivers in real time (Samsara) and handle late changes and delays Keep accurate trip, hours and detention records, and leave a clear handover note What you bring 2+ years of dispatch experience, local or city P&D preferred Strong knowledge of GTA roads, terminals and customer facilities Calm, independent and reliable Experience with TMS and ELD/telematics systems; Samsara is an asset A second language is an asset What we offer Competitive salary Health and dental benefits A team where reliability and professionalism are recognized
