Children's Transportation Driver

Job Summary As a Children’s Transportation Driver, you’ll provide safe, dependable transportation for children between designated locations. You’ll operate a passenger van or other assigned passenger vehicle, follow local routes, and communicate clearly with children, families, and team members. Your impact: Careful driving and attentive passenger support help children reach their destinations safely and on time. Duties Drive assigned routes while adhering to traffic regulations and applicable state transportation regulations. Safely operate a passenger van; bus, shuttle, limousine, or chauffeur driving experience may also be useful. Use GPS navigation to follow local driving routes and adjust when needed. Provide courteous customer service and clear client communication before, during, and after trips. Complete routine vehicle maintenance checks and assist with manual handling or heavy lifting when required. Requirements Demonstrated safe driving skills; delivery driver experience, personal vehicle delivery, van driving, or medical transportation experience is helpful. Experience with passenger van operation, bus driving, shuttle driving, limousine service, or chauffeur driving is preferred, not required. Strong communication skills and a calm, attentive approach when transporting children. Ability to follow route instructions, traffic rules, and state transportation regulations. Ability to perform required manual handling and heavy lifting, and to report vehicle maintenance concerns promptly. Work Location: In person
