Cherry Picker Operator

Job Description People First Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and certified Cherry Picker Operator for a warehouse position in New Brunswick, NJ. The ideal candidate must have experience operating cherry picker forklifts and electric pallet jacks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position will primarily focus on accurately pulling customer orders, handling inventory, and ensuring all warehouse operations are completed safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Operate cherry picker forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Pull and pick customer orders accurately according to order sheets or warehouse management systems. Retrieve products from elevated warehouse racking and storage locations. Verify product quantities, SKUs, and order accuracy. Prepare and stage completed orders for packing and shipping. Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse as needed. Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies. Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Meet daily productivity goals while following all warehouse safety procedures. Minimum Qualifications Cherry Picker Certification – REQUIRED Electric Pallet Jack Certification – REQUIRED Previous experience operating cherry picker equipment in a warehouse or distribution center. Proven experience with order picking and fulfillment. Ability to work at elevated heights while using required fall protection. Ability to read and understand order sheets, SKU numbers, and product labels. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of cherry picker operating experience. Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS). Previous experience in a high-volume distribution or logistics facility. Pay: $19.80 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
