Duties Safely operate cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to retrieve or place products at various heights within the warehouse. Execute accurate order picking using barcode scanning technology to ensure correct items are selected for shipment or inventory updates. Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and manual handling. Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock counts and updating warehouse management systems (WMS). Assist in shipping and receiving activities by preparing products for dispatch or storage, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Perform routine equipment inspections, minor repairs, and report any maintenance needs to ensure optimal operation of all material handling equipment. Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and warehouse safety protocols to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment. Requirements Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, or similar material handling machinery. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently, with manual handling skills that meet safety standards in production environments. Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying quantities during order picking or inventory checks. Familiarity with OSHA regulations, forklift safety protocols, and warehouse operations best practices. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Warehouse experience including shipping & receiving procedures is highly desirable; previous warehouse supervisor experience is a plus.
