Cherry Picker Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating reach trucks and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and organize inventory within our distribution center. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and safe handling of goods. Duties Operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse Pick and pack orders accurately using barcode scanning technology and warehouse management systems (WMS) to fulfill shipping requests Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring proper stacking and storage in designated areas Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to maintain optimal performance and safety compliance Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and updating warehouse management systems Follow all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) safety protocols and warehouse safety standards during daily operations Assist in organizing warehouse layout for optimal space utilization and efficient workflow Skills Proven experience operating reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, forklift trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, or similar material handling equipment Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, shipping & receiving procedures Knowledge of warehouse safety standards including OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting with proper technique Skilled in inventory management, order picking, load & unload processes, and materials handling best practices Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately Experience with equipment repair or troubleshooting is a plus but not required Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety and efficiency in fast-paced environments Join us as a Reach Truck Operator to be a key player in our logistics operation!
