Chemical Technician
Maverick TechCompensation: $18-$19 per hour We are currently looking for a meticulous and safety-conscious Chemical Technician to become part of our dynamic production facility. You will be responsible for transferring chemical products from bulk storage into smaller containers, ensuring all quality and compliance protocols are met. Primary Duties Transfer chemical substances from large-scale containers into smaller, ready-to-use units Analyze and carry out instructions found in production work orders and technical specifications Ensure accurate record-keeping to support inventory management and regulatory compliance Safely manage the handling of hazardous substances and oversee waste disposal processes Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area for the entire team Adhere to all established environmental, quality, and safety regulations Requirements Possession of a GED or high school diploma Experience or comfort working with hazardous materials while maintaining rigorous safety standards Proficiency in interpreting work orders and completing necessary documentation with precision Strong focus on detail combined with fundamental mathematical abilities Ability to perform tasks autonomously with limited oversight Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative spirit Physical Demands Lift up to 70 lbs. with help Move drum carts weighing up to 500 lbs. with assistance Ascend and descend ladders Remain standing for long durations Regularly perform bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling motions Desired Attributes Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for the entire team Consistent attendance and professional conduct Effective time management and clear communication skills Accountability and a high level of precision in tasks Analytical mindset and the ability to resolve problems Note: Candidates must pass a 5-panel drug test as a condition of employment.
