The Yard Office Lounge , located inside the historic Station Inn B&B in Cresson, PA, is looking for a Chef & Lounge Operations Manager to lead our kitchen and back-of-house team while anchoring our overall lounge operations. Set in a cozy, 1904 speakeasy-style atmosphere right along the busy main rail line, we offer craft cocktails, shareable small plates, and a relaxed environment for rail enthusiasts and locals alike. We aren’t a high-stress, late-night restaurant—our doors are open for public service Thursday through Saturday evenings only . What You'll Do ($20.00 / Hour): Lead the Kitchen: Oversee prep, cooking, expediting, and quality control for our focused small-plates and dessert menu. Manage Total Inventory: Own FOH and BOH inventory, ordering, stock control, vendor receiving, and cost tracking. Anchor Operations: Provide dependable leadership, shift supervision, and team coordination. Work a Predictable Schedule: ~30–35 hours per week (Thursday–Saturday evening service + flexible daytime prep/ordering hours). Who We’re Looking For: A grounded, reliable professional with commercial kitchen and food prep experience. Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and ordering across the business.
