Performs a variety of tasks including supplies, maintaining inventories, and compiling stock records. Reports to the Senior Director of Materials Management. Position Responsibilities Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program and safety standards. Receives request for supplies and equipment, selects proper items from inventory, delivers equipment to nursing units, loads distribution carts, and delivers supplies as required. Inventory storage areas and exchange carts, maintaining par levels. Removes outdated supplies and other unused supplies and returns for reprocessing or for disposition. Labels or tags billable items and processes patient charges. Organize and maintain records pertinent to par levels, supply quantities issued or missing, make recommendations regarding par levels.
