sident transportation, facility supply coordination, inventory management, and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently, enjoys working with older adults, and can provide exceptional service while supporting both residents and facility departments.
Key Responsibilities
Transportation Responsibilities:
• Safely transport residents to and from scheduled medical appointments, activities, and other approved destinations
• Assist with transportation needs for new admissions and resident-related appointments as needed
• Coordinate transportation schedules with Nursing and facility leadership
• Prepare necessary appointment documentation and transportation packets
• Maintain accurate transportation logs, mileage records, and required documentation
• Ensure facility vehicle remains clean, safe, and compliant with all applicable regulations
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report any concerns promptly
Central Supply Responsibilities:
• Maintain and organize facility medical supply inventory
• Order supplies from approved vendors while maintaining quality and cost awareness
• Receive, verify, label, and distribute medical supplies to appropriate departments
• Track inventory usage and ensure supplies are available when needed
• Maintain accurate supply records and computer-based tracking systems
• Assist with resident supply utilization tracking and required reporting
• Ensure supply areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with facility standards
• Work within established facility budgets and ordering procedures
Administrative & Facility Support Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate documentation while protecting resident confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Assist with organization, preparation, and management of facility-related paperwork
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff members, vendors, and outside providers
• Attend facility meetings, trainings, committees, and programs as required
• Provide support to other departments as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned by facility leadership
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn facility software systems
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Experience working in healthcare, long-term care, transportation, or administrative support preferred
• Previous experience working with older adults preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• CNA Certification Preferred

Physical Requirements
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods

• Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30–50 pounds
• Ability to assist residents safely during transportation as needed
