40% of Job: Statistical & Geospatial Analysis
- Apply statistical methods (regression, forecasting, hypothesis testing, clustering) to analyze business and operational data.
- Conduct geospatial analyses using GIS and telematics tools to support optimization, site/plant analysis, and logistics planning.
- Develop prescriptive models to inform strategic initiatives.
- Present findings through clear data storytelling and visualization that blends quantitative insights with operational context.
30% of Job: Data Visualization & Reporting
- Use Power BI, Python, and GIS platforms to communicate insights in accessible formats.
- Build and maintain analytical dashboards that integrate statistical and geospatial outputs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to link operational performance metrics with financial results and strategic objectives, ensuring insights drive measurable business impact.
20% of Job: Data Management, Process & Integration
- Work with SQL, Python, and geospatial databases to prepare, clean, and integrate data for analysis.
- Partner with IT/data engineering to optimize data pipelines for statistical and geospatial work.
- Identify gaps in processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability of business and data workflows.
- Support adherence to data governance standards by promoting best practices for data integrity and compliance within analytics work.
10% of Job: Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Document methodologies, statistical models, and geospatial analyses.
- Advocate for data-driven decision-making by promoting analytics best practices and data literacy.
- Provide guidance and hands-on help to build team confidence in using basic analysis tools.
- Stay current on emerging techniques in data analysis, spatial analytics, and advanced visualization.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration (with a technology focus), or a related field
Preferred: Master’s Degree
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in BI development or data analysis
