Major Drilling, one of the world's largest drilling service companies (primarily serving the mining industry) is seeking a WAREHOUSE CLERK for our warehouse in Winnipeg . In addition, we offer: Competitive wages Excellent benefits RRSP program Job Description Reporting to Warehouse Supervisor, the ideal candidate will have experience with shipping and receiving, taking and filling orders and controlling inventory using a computerized system. Responsibilities Include: Process and expedite requisitions for material and equipment as required. Fills orders and ensures they are delivered by date requested. Issue and track purchase orders, while coordinating deliveries. Various other shipping and receiving responsibilities. · Manages and organizes stockroom materials as per delivery schedules, performing regular cycle counts on inventories as required and documenting/ investigating count discrepancies. Works co-operatively with supervisor, co-workers and customers. Follows safe work procedures. Requirements Include: Safety conscious Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse setting Strong knowledge of computer programs and systems Excellent organizational skills Attention to detail Exceptional communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Holds a valid Driver’s license Experience in the exploration/mining industry is an asset Major Drilling is an equal opportunity employer, and has a strong commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion.
