What We Offer Competitive Pay: $0.70 per mile for solo driving and $0.80 per mile for team driving. Amazon Block Opportunities: $700 per block. Job Responsibilities As a CDL with Eagle Express, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight while maintaining high standards of professionalism and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will include: Safely operating a tractor-trailer on assigned routes. Transporting freight in accordance with scheduled pickup and delivery appointments. Performing required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Following all applicable DOT and FMCSA safety regulations. Maintaining accurate electronic logs and hours-of-service records. Communicating professionally with dispatch regarding load status, schedules, delays, and equipment concerns. Reporting mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly. Following customer and facility procedures during pickups and deliveries. Maintaining a professional attitude and prioritizing safety at all times. Driver Qualifications Required: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Current DOT medical certification or qualification. Ability to satisfy applicable DOT and FMCSA driver qualification requirements. Ability to pass required pre-employment drug screening. Acceptable driving record based on company and applicable insurance requirements. Knowledge of commercial vehicle safety procedures and hours-of-service regulations. Ability to perform required vehicle inspections and operate electronic logging devices. Professional communication skills, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety. Preferred: Previous experience operating Class A tractor-trailers. Experience with regional or over-the-road freight transportation. Experience with Amazon freight operations.
